We believe the world works better, for everyone and everything in it, when more of us are pulled by love than controlled by fear. So our work is focused on a simple idea.
Making Love Cool Again.
You're probably thinking that sounds ridiculous.
Laughable at best. Delusional at worst. Just hear us out.
Nothing is broken in people.
Something just got lost. And what's lost can be found again.
Fear took love's place, and then it became the norm. But fear didn't win because it works. It won because it's loud.
Next to all that noise, love started to look naive and weak.
We can't fix that with more fear. Fear is what we're trying to get out from under, so it can't be the tool that gets us out.
So the answer is simple. Make love the thing people want to be near.
That's all cool has ever meant.
So what does that actually look like?
Right now it looks like an art show, a podcast, children's books, and a lot of writing. We start things and build them in community. When the time is right, we put them in the hands of people who can make them catch fire.
We write about where love and fear show up in ordinary life. None of it is trying to hand anyone an answer. It's about getting curious. About ourselves and our beliefs. About other people. And maybe most of all, about why curiosity feels so dangerous.
Conversations with real people around real fires. We sit down and talk about purpose, love, fear. No topic is off the table. These are not interviews. They are about presence over performance. And the conversations go places a studio or screen could never go.
It started with a children's book about a boy who notices that being a boy comes with rules nobody says out loud. That book became 2. We hope 2 becomes millions more stories of Little Yous. Stories that reach kids before they put parts of themselves away, and invite adults to look back at the parts they already did.
An art show and marketplace founded by 6 men inside a Virginia prison. Art is how the artists heal. Money from the work keeps them in touch with their families, because saying I love you to your kid shouldn't cost an hour of wages. In prison, it often does. And a person who learns the story behind what they bought stops seeing a crime and starts seeing another human.
Are you starting to get curious?
There's nothing to join. And there's nothing to sign. The only thing we ask for is curiosity.
That's the honest way to describe what this is. A curious collection of people, projects, and organizations that found each other.
Some are artists.
Some are writers.
Some are storytellers.
Some are listeners.
Some are builders.
All of us are curious, and all of us are learning.
