Donor Privacy Policy

Our commitment
Heart-Strong will not sell, rent, trade, or share our donor list with any other organization, for any reason. If you give to Heart-Strong, your name does not become somebody else's mailing list.
What we collect
When you make a donation we collect your name, email address, billing address, and the amount and date of your gift. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
How we use it
To process your gift and send you a receipt
To thank you and acknowledge your support
To meet IRS and state reporting requirements
To keep you informed about the work you supported, if you have asked to hear from us
Recognition
We will never list your name publicly as a donor without asking you first.
Anonymous giving
If you would rather we not keep your contact information beyond what Stripe needs to process the transaction, tell us and we will honor that.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to stop contacting you, to tell you what we have on file, to correct it, or to remove you from our records entirely, except where tax rules require us to keep a record of the gift. Write to hello@heart-strong.org.
